5 Eye Yoga Exercise For Better Vision

A lot of us always forget about one of the essential organs of our body, which is the eyes. The eye is the lantern of your body. If your eyes are healthy, your entire body will be full of light. (Matthew 6:22). But if your vision is weak, your whole body will be full of darkness. In other words, your eyes allow you to see and put everything into memory.

We spend the most substantial part of our day in front of our phones, tablets, and computers screen, staring at photos, documents, videos. But have you ever thought about your eye influence in all these, how this affects your vision? Have you thought of how to improve your eyesight naturally and the ability to see things flawlessly?

Many people experience aching, tired, burning or itching eyes, light sensitivity, headaches, and blurred vision due to staring at their phones, tablets, and computers screen all day, weeks, months, and years.

I know it might be tough for you to avoid using your phones, tablets, and computers for a little while to allow your eyes to rest. What if I told you could enhance your vision with a simple exercise?

Luckily, Mayor Boss will show you some easy exercises know as Eye yoga, which can help improve eyesight and relieve your eye strain from the prolonged staring time at phones, computers, etc.

You can do these eye yoga first thing in the morning, before bedtime, or any time your eyes feel tired.

Here are the eye yoga exercises:

1. Palming the eye

Just rub your hands together to produce heat sensations. Close your eyes. Place your palms over your closed eyes and relax, concentrate your mind on something and breathe deeply. Hold until you feel your eyes completely absorbed the heat. This exercise is calming, especially after a long day at work.

2. Blinking eye yoga

Blink your eye for like 10 to 15 times and then close your eyes for 20 seconds. Relax as you concentrate on your breathing with your eyes closed, try to look down, to the right, up to the left, then change the direction holding each position for five seconds, according to the Mindbodygreen.

3. Side to side and rotation movement

Move your eyes gently from side to side for like 15 times and then roll your eyes round in a circle for like 10 to 15 times. Just make sure your neck does not move during the process.

4. Staring at the tip of your nose

Just lift your right arm in a manner that is right in front of your nose. Fist the right palm and allow the thumb to face upwards. Then focus your eyes on the tip of your thumb. Exhale, then again bend your arm in a way that your thumb is at the tip of your nose. Make sure your stare follows the movement of your thumb. Hold that staring at the tip of your nose for several seconds. Inhale. As you proceed to stop your staring on the thumb, unfold your arms. Exhale. Repeat this process five times, according to the StyleCraze.

5. 20-Second object target exercise

Just look at an object that is far from you and gaze at it without blinking your eyes for like 20 seconds. Next, put your thumb immediately below the object and then start to shift your focus between the target object and the tip of your thumb.

Lastly, make a habit of exercising your eyes with eye yoga and give your eyes a break to rest for like 10 minutes for every 60 minutes you look at phones, tablets, or computers screen. Besides, you should always try to get enough sleep is necessary for eye health.
