The powdered form of activated charcoal is commonly used while cooking. It helps to turn the food in black color. You must be cautious while taking the activated charcoal.
It is a good absorbent that detoxifies the body or skin. But the regular high use of activated charcoal affects the absorption of the drug. Commonly activated charcoal lowers the effect of oral contraceptives.
7. Alcohol containing beverages
Mostly medications labels’ avoid the alcohol intake while taking medications’. The consumption of only one glass of wine can cause serious negative effects.
You feel drowsy and less focused after drinking alcohol; however, its intake of the drugs can cause further complications. The common symptoms of drug alcohol interaction are nausea, vomiting, tingling sensations, headache, and increased palpitations.
8. Caffeinated drinks
Do you start your morning with a cup of black tea or coffee? Well, you must be cautious because the combination of caffeinated beverages with anti-anxiety or asthma medications increases the risk of interaction and cause sleeplessness and restlessness.
