What happens when you are not healthy? With how fast our world is today, it is easy not to pay close attention to our health. For most people they take their health seriously after they have had a severe health scare. In order to avoid waiting to last minute to know your health is in danger, here are nine signs you neglecting your health:

1. Dark Circles Around Your Eyes. 

What causes dark circles under the eyes? Sudden dark circles around your eyes is a sign of stress and insomnia. Stress leads to so many health problems and requires urgent attention. Are you feeling stressed? Try your best to lessen your feelings of stress and anxiety.

2. Puffy Eyes. 

What are puffy eyes a sign of? Bad eating habits and increase salt consumption are some of the reasons for puffy eyes. It shows you need to slow down and make better healthy food choices for better health. If you are experiencing chronic eye puffiness, speak to your doctor regarding treatment possibilities.

3. Weight Gain. 

What can cause rapid weight gain? When we start slacking in the health department, one of the major areas we neglect is our diets. We turn to high carbohydrates and greasy foods to soothe our stress, in turn gaining weight. Weight gain is also a sign of several diseases, including hypothyroidism and diabetes. 

4. Insomnia. 

Sleep is necessary for good health. When you deprived your body of proper rest, it suffers. Try to get good sleep habits, go to sleep at the same time every night, and wake up at the same time every morning. Avoid caffeine and alcohol in the evening and get regular exercise.  

5. Problem With Concentration/Forgetfulness. 

Poor health care leads to short term memory loss, inability to focus, and mental tiredness. Consider a physical activity that will help keep your brain in health, such as eating a healthy diet, doing 30 minutes of exercise five days a week, getting enough sleep and rest.

6. Fatigue. 

Generalized weakness is one of the major signs your body needs help. Try to reduce stress, get a good night’s sleep, cut out caffeine, drink less alcohol, and drink more water for better. 

7. Dehydration. 

Dry skin, dry, flaky hair, bloating, and extremely yellow urine are all signs you have been depriving your body of water. Drink more water for better health.

8. Acne. 

What Causes Acne? Acne can be induced by stress, not taking off your make-up before bed, taking too many dairy products, and paying less attention to your health. 

9. Tooth Problems. 

Some indications of tooth problems are stained tooth, minor tooth pain, inflamed gums, or bleeding from gum while brushing. These are all signs you have not paid attention to your teeth in a while, and you need to go see your dentist for a checkup.
