It’s 2022, and you have a few resolutions to make.

You know, something small that can be accomplished in less than a year.

If you’re anything like me, the only resolutions I have are going to be about self-improvement and happiness.

And what better way to start on this new journey than adding some simple joys into your daily routine?

Here is my list of 8 simple joys you should add to your daily routine in 2022:

1. Wake up early and take a walk outside

The sun is just starting to peek over the horizon, the birds are singing, and the air is fresh and crisp.

What better way to start your day than with a peaceful walk outside?

Walking in nature has been shown to have many benefits, including reducing stress levels, improving moods, and increasing creativity.

So why not wake up a bit earlier and take a walk outside?

You’ll be glad you did.

2. Take some time each day to do something you enjoy

Whether it’s reading, painting, dancing, or playing video games, make sure to set aside some time each day to do something you enjoy.

This is a great way to boost your mood and relax after a long day.

Plus, it’s a great way to spend some quality time with yourself.

So find something you love and make time for it each day!

3. Connect with loved ones

One of the best ways to boost your mood and happiness is to connect with loved ones.

Whether it’s a phone call, text message, or in-person visit, spending time with loved ones can brighten up your day.

So make sure to connect with loved ones often!

4. Take your favorite morning beverage

What’s your favorite morning beverage?

Maybe it’s coffee, tea, lemon water, or warm water.

Whatever it is, make sure to take time each morning to enjoy it.

Taking a few minutes to drink your favorite morning beverage can help start your day off on the right foot.

As for me, every morning, I’ll be sipping on my cup of hibiscus tea with two teaspoons of honey.

So find something you love and make time for it each day!

5. Exercise

This one should be a no-brainer.

Exercising is not only great for your physical health, but it’s also great for your mental health.

Exercising releases endorphins which can help improve your mood and make you feel happier.

So make sure to add some exercise to your daily routine, even if it’s just a quick 5-minute workout.

So what better way to boost your mood and health than with a good laugh?

So find something that makes you laugh and make time for it each day!

If you don’t have anything that makes you laugh, watch a funny movie or TV show, read the comics, or go to a comedy club.

Laughter is guaranteed to boost your mood and happiness!

7. Take a nap

This one is for all you busy bees out there.

Sometimes all you need is a good nap to recharge your batteries.

Napping has been shown to improve moods, cognitive function, and memory.

So if you’re feeling tired or stressed, take a quick nap to help boost your energy levels.

8. Eat a handful of nuts

There’s evidence that suggests people who eat nuts on a regular basis are less likely to have heart attacks or die from heart disease.

And because they’re high in protein and fiber, they’ll help keep you feeling full throughout the day.

So make sure to add a handful of nuts each day.

I personally recommend almonds, walnuts, or Brazil nuts because they’re delicious and packed with healthy nutrients!

And on top of that?  

They’ll help improve your health while also boosting your mood and happiness!

How great is that?

If you don’t like any of those options, just find a nut you love and add it to your daily routine!
